Really pleasing News to see that through hard work and colaboration and high end networking ECASS Portsmouth were able to support Fratton youth Christmas Buffet/Party and The Older persons 2022 Fratton Community Friends Christmas Party through our teams Donation . We have Just recived word from the hard working team at Fratton Community Centre that everyone had a amazing time and that the donation from ECASS enabled the amazing team at Fratton community centre to provide both groups with a fabulous buffet, a fantastic raffle ,a game of prize bingo, a DJ – and even a glass of Sherry! Everyone also received a gift by way of a Pannetone Cake or celebrations sweets – those who were unable to attend also received a gift when attending the usual groups in the week leading up to the Christmas Party. To most of the people that attened these clubs ,these clubs are a lifeline and a vitial link to freinds and the local community and socialising . Well done to all involved and all of our team that donated to make this happen .
Yesterday Our director and the ECASS team were down at the Main branch of Barclays bank in Commercial Road Portsmouth, where we are now running one of our support and signposting clinics. We will be there again this Monday 4th December until 2pm and then will run our support and signposting clinics from there on a very regular basis , people can drop in and receive support and advice and signposting when needed .The staffing team down at Barclays bank Commercial road were phenomenal today in their professional standards and interventions throughout the day, it really was impressive to see the whole team being multi-functional dealing with a range of issues that many of their customers are facing on a day to day basis that were not just banking related. It was a true pleasure to see such a hard-working team with high end ethics and standards operate with such passion ,something which the city or Portsmouth and the banking industry should be very honored and proud off. Another amazing team in Portsmouth making change day by day. .
After working closely with Portsmouth Football Club over the last few months or so The ECASS team would like to say a huge thankyou to the whole Portsmouth staffing team, who upon our request from ECASS, provided an amazing experience for a couple of smashing young Ukrainian lads and their family, who have chosen Portsmouth as their new home. Its never easy leaving the place you call home or leaving family and friends behind in such troubled times so this was a little something we as a community could do to show some warmth support and caring love.
This Amazing football experience that was provided yesterday at Fratton Park against Fleetwood town also included their mum and nan and the truly amazing host family the Weston’s, who have welcomed them into their home in such sad worrying times for the Ukraine. They all got to see the game meet the players, meet the managers and but most importantly of all feel the love the care and the unity that is here for them and all that need it.
Portsmouth football club you were amazing and in such worrying times we all came together to show that the door in Portsmouth is always open. Positive People Power! A special thankyou to Ashleigh Emberson at Portsmouth FC from the ECASS team who worked relentlessly with us to make this happen you are a true gem and superstar we can’t thank you enough. The video says it all Danny Cowley stand up and take a bow. Best wishes and kindest regards John and the ECASS Team.

Congratulations to our Creative arts Co,ordinator Art Form Neil Foley for his nomination at the inspiring Fratton awards tonight . Well done mate from all the team.
A few months the ECASS team asked the young people of Fratton youth club if they would design something they would like to see on one of the walls at Fratton Community Centre and worked closely with the Amazing team at Fratton community centre and our creative arts director ARTFORM we set a competition up for the young people. We ended up with 7 designs from the young people which we put into one overall design for the wall. All the young people engaged in spraying and artwork as did the adults, we even were lucky enough to have the honourable Lord and lady mayoress of Portsmouth, turn up and of course, we got them straight onto the wall engaging as well.
Today was an amazing event for all concerned with months of hard work coming in place, our director John and the ECASS team would firstly like to thank all the young people who turned out and put work into their community centre, the amazing community centre staff and Fratton youth service who supported us right through the project. Portsmouth in the community for supporting with additional prizes of tickets to watch Portsmouth play Bristol rovers for young people and their parents, and for kindly offering to put the winning designs on the big screen during the match, Our patron who funded the project, The lord and Lady Mayoress of Portsmouth for engaging and making the young people feel special and Aaron our deputy director and last of Artform who we have been working with for months to bring this about…. You smashed it. watch, More ECASS projects are incoming ..
